Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing NEOTROPIC PERU TRAVEL E.I.R.L.. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Booking Information
  • A valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining after the completion of your trip to Peru is required.
  • A 30% deposit in USD is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. 
  • The remaining balance is due 30 days before departure and can be paid via bank transfer, PayPal, cash, or credit card.
Cancellation Policy
  • 45+ days prior: 30% of the total cost is non-refundable. 
  • 44–25 days prior: 40% of the total cost is non-refundable.
  • 24–10 days prior: 70% of the total cost is non-refundable.
  • 9–0 days prior: 100% of the total cost is non-refundable (including no-shows or unused portions of trips).

If NEOTROPIC PERU TRAVEL cancels the trip due to force majeure or insufficient group size (minimum of 2 participants), we will refund any recoverable fees but are not responsible for non-refundable expenses such as airfare, visas, entrances or travel insurance.

Refunds

No refunds are provided for unused portions of the trip, including accommodations, meals, internal transport, and entrance fees.

Trip Alterations

We reserve the right to modify itineraries, tour prices, or terms and conditions without prior notice.

Your Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

  • Choose a trip suited to your abilities and interests.
  • Follow the trip leader’s safety guidelines.
  • Abstain from consuming illegal substances during the tour.
  • Prepare for the trip as per the materials provided (e.g., itinerary, packing list).
  • Respect local cultures and minimize environmental impact.
Medical Considerations
  • Inform us of any medical conditions at the time of booking.
  • Purchase travel insurance covering medical emergencies and evacuation.
  • Understand that NEOTROPIC PERU TRAVEL is not a medical facility and assumes no liability for medical care.
Optional Activities

Optional activities not listed in the itinerary are undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for their safety or quality.

Tour Prices
  • Prices are quoted in USD and exclude international airfare unless otherwise stated.
  • Custom trips may require a higher deposit or full payment at the time of booking.
Single Supplement

Single travelers are subject to additional fees unless booking as part of a shared accommodation.

Photography

We reserve the right to use photos or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes.

Consumer Protection

All payments are insured under Peru’s Consumer Protection Authority (RUC 20609937981).
